Infamous transgender activist and London gangster Sarah Jane Baker is reportedly on a hunger strike while being held in a men's prison awaiting trial, according to Attitude.

Baker, a trans-identified biological male and convicted felon, was arrested in July on charges of threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behavior after calling for violence against women at London Trans Pride.

According to the outlet, Baker started to refuse food while in prison beginning at 5 p.m. on August 18 and stopped drinking liquids at 11 a.m. on August 19.

A spokesperson for the Free Sarah Jane Baker Campaign Team said in a statement, "Sarah Jane is incredibly vulnerable right now, having suffered numerous violent and sexual attacks during the 30 years she has already served in a male prison for crimes committed more than three decades ago."

"We are concerned that if she is not moved to an appropriate prison soon, her health is at serious risk," the statement reads.

Baker, who cut off his testicles while spending 30 years in a UK prison after being convicted of attempted murder and kidnapping, called for extreme violence against women at London Trans Pride in early July.

"I was gonna come here and be really fluffy," Baker said to the assembled crowd, draped in a trans flag while waving an Antifa flag, "and be really nice and say 'yeah, be really lovely and queer and gay.' Nah. If you see a TERF, punch them in the f*cking face!"

Following those remarks, an individual reported Baker for inciting violence. Met police initially declined to open an investigation stating that Baker's comments were protected under free speech laws, but re-opened the case following an influx of complaints. Baker was then arrested by authorities inside his home in July.

The Free Sarah Jane Baker Campaign Team added, "Initially the police and probation services had decided the comments she made during Pride would not result in her being recalled. It is a further injustice and risk to her safety to house her at a male prison," the statement concluded.

On August 31, a trial is scheduled to take place in front of Deputy Chief Magistrate Tan Ikram at the City of London Magistrates Court.
