The UK Metropolitan police launched an investigation into a trans-identified convicted attempted murderer after he called for extreme violence against women at London Trans Pride on Saturday. The trans flag-wearing, Antifa flag-waving former convict was backed by London Trans Pride.

Sarah Jane Baker, who spent 30 years in prison after being convicted of kidnapping and torturing her stepmother's brother and was further convicted in prison for the attempted murder of a fellow inmate, made the threatening comments to the Pride attendees over the weekend.

"I was gonna come here and be really fluffy," Baker said to the assembled crowd, "and be really nice and say 'yeah, be really lovely and queer and gay.' Nah. If you see a TERF, punch them in the f*cking face!"

Following those remarks, an individual reported Baker for inciting violence, but Met police told the concerned citizen that they would not pursue the case because the comments made by Baker are allowed under free speech laws, Daily Mail reports.

This despite the fact that women's rights campaigners, such as Kellie-Jay Keen, have been spoken to under caution by UK police, and threatened with arrest for what was an alleged "hate crime" for making statements that biological sex is real and men aren't women. For that, Keen was cautioned that "The crime is use of words or behaviour to stir up hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation."

Initially, the Met Police claimed that saying women should be punched in their "f*cking face" if they believe biological sex is real was proteced speech. Perhaps they had not reviewed their own definitions.

According to the outlet, Met police has decided to reopen the investigation into Baker after receiving a handful of complaints.

"We are aware of a video filmed in Westminster on Saturday, 8 July showing a speaker making remarks during the Trans Pride event. We have received a number of reports in relation to the video. The case was initially closed with no further action," a Met spokesman told Daily Mail. "This has been reviewed and the crime report has been re-opened. Enquiries remain ongoing."

Baker, who wrote a book about being trans in prison and started the Trans Prisoner Alliance, made public threats against the life of JK Rowling at London Trans Pride in 2022, carrying signs that read "Kill JK Rowling."

"I used to love you, I used to love your books, I thought you was kind, I thought you was amazing. When I sat in my own prison cell, before I [unintelligble] my own testicles, I used to think, you know, if she was here she would support me, she would back me," Baker said in 2022 through a megaphone to cheering crowds.

Baker has indicated that he'd like to run for Parliament.
