This was a shocking instance of election interference

President Donald Trump spoke from Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday night, and in broadcasting that speech, ABC News blurred out the text written on Trump's podium that gave information on how to help raise funds for his presidential campaign.

This was a shocking instance of election interference—and something the news outlet would never do to any other political candidate.

In 2020, ABC allowed Biden's campaign text messaging to be broadcast live.

Trump gave remarks on his arrest in New York that morning where he was charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, in a case to what essentially amounts to accusations of improper bookkeeping. In his speech to supporters and press, Trump spoke about his campaign to take back the White House and make America great again.

On his podium read the words "TEXT TRUMP TO 88022." ABC clearly didn't want anyone to text or support the campaign, and in blurring that text, they went far beyond reporting on Trump's speech and dove into the realm of obstructing the news.
