The Biden administration will reportedly remove five extremist groups from the official Foreign Terrorist Organization List.

As reported by Just the News, Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Congress on Friday that each of the five groups is considered defunct due to their respective financial situations.

The groups include Basque Fatherland and Liberty, the Japanese doomsday cult Aum Shinrikyo, extremist Orthodox Jewish group Kehane Kach and two radical Islamic groups: the Mujahideen Shura Council in the Environs of Jerusalem and Gama’a al-Islamiyya.

Biden is also reportedly considering removing the terrorist label from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in exchange for some tenet of the Iran nuclear deal that is currently in negotiation.
