Human Event Daily host Jack Posobiec commented on the newly released files on the would-be assassin of President Donald Trump, Thomas Matthew Crooks, on Tuesday, saying that no stone can be left unturned in the case.
It was revealed on Tuesday in documents released by the Trump administration that Crooks' body was cremated with the funds of an anonymous donor, that the would-be assassin has been described as "emotionless" by his family, and that Crooks used the alias of "Bob Dole" to purchase his rifle parts online.
"An anonymous donor paid for the cremation of Thomas Matthew Crooks," Posobiec said, and then had the media team display photos of the would-be assassin just before the shooting took place. Comparing him to how he was depicted in high school photos, Posobiec said. "You can see he's put on more muscle. His hair is longer. It just appears more menacing. He's got that look on his face."
He pointed out that while Crooks was at the grounds where Trump nearly lost his life, there was a Turning Point booth. Posobiec recounted how he had previously talked to those who were manning the booth, who said that Crooks appeared to be "emotionless."
"What's incredible is that the information that's coming out today says that his father revealed that his son was emotionless ... from the day he was born," Posobiec added.
He then commented on Trump's response to the information that came out, where the president slammed former FBI Director Christopher Wray. "Christopher Wray spread the left-wing lie that President Trump had not been shot, and he implied that President Trump had been grazed by broken glass from one of his teleprompters that was there on the stage during the Butler shooting," he added.
Posobiec later added that regarding Crooks, "We are dealing with an unhuman force, so this information, using Bob Dole as a pseudonym on gun parts, it is spilling out now, and we need to dig deeper."
He added that Crooks was the "tip of the spear" in the assassination attempts on Trump's life, which have included the shooting in Butler, the attempt at Trump International in Florida in September 2024, as well as the assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents' Dinner earlier this year.
