Tesla CEO Elon Musk acquired a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter, causing a 20 percent rise in share prices on Monday.

This makes Musk the largest shareholder in the platform, which he has often questioned in regards to free speech.

Indeed, Musk now holds 73,486,938 shares, worth $2.9 billion, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing released Monday.
