The House January 6th Inquisition made its case on Sunday to seek a contempt of Congress charge against two former Trump officials: Dan Scavino and Peter Navarro.

The report, released prior to a Monday vote, could lead to criminal contempt charges for the two former officials, both of whom have not provided documentation requested by the panel.

“Despite all these extensions, to date, Mr. Scavino has not produced a single document, nor has he appeared for testimony,” the committee wrote in its report.

“Mr. Navarro had a brief exchange with Select Committee staff after accepting service of the subpoena and also made public comments indicating that he would not appear or provide documents as required by the subpoena,” the report continues.

Indeed, as reported by The Hill, the committee will vote on whether to accept the report on Monday, after which it will head to the full House for a vote.

If passed, the report will go to the Department of Justice, which will decide whether or not to pursue charges.
