Apple iPhone users will now find it easier to unlock their devices while wearing masks, raising privacy concerns.

The iOS 15.4 beta, which currently works only on newer iPhone models, adjusts facial recognition to recognize users wearing masks by “authenticating the unique features around your eyes,” per Just the News.

Users previously needed to also have an Apple Watch to unlock their phones while wearing a mask.

While Apple asks users installing the update if they want to enable masked recognition, Apple also warns that it’s not as accurate as the regular facial recognition features.
