Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec appeared at CPAC Great Britain over the weekend, where he called on the British people to take back their country. He also warned about the left-wing bias of the media and said the bias has ignored the nation’s decline.
Posobiec spoke on the topic of political violence after going to the UK following his attendance at the Charlie Kirk murder trial. Mentioning the killing of Ann Widdecombe, which may have been a politically motivated murder, the commentator said, "So we ask ourselves, what is going on?"
"In the United States. President Trump has faced three assassination attempts, but by the grace of God, he was saved every single time," Posobiec added, and said that story selection bias from media organizations have real-life consequences.
Speaking about the bias in the media, specifically focusing on story selection bias, Posobiec said that major outlets ignore and downplay violence perpetrated by left-wing agitators as well as migrants who have come into western countries. He said that we see the violence "in the United States, with Rachel Morin, Jocelyn Nungary, Laken Riley, and of course even here in the UK, a young man by the name of Henry Nowak."
Each name he mentioned, with the exception of Nowak, was a person who was killed by an illegal immigrant in the US. Nowak was killed by Vickrum Digwa, who was born in the UK to his mother, who is an Indian national.
"You won't hear about the rise of left-wing violence, of political violence, of migrant violence," Posobiec said of how the media covers the news.
"A young man like Henry Novak dies, and people are left scratching their heads, and they say, "Where's the CNN documentary? Where's the BBC docu-series? Where's the panorama on this? Never happens," Posobiec added. "Instead we get Keir Starmer, putting up ... the show Adolescence on Netflix, smearing young white men again as if they are the only aggressors in all of society."
"A society that is trained to fight itself will eventually do so. It will disintegrate, and it will pit the people against one another, rather than focusing on the shared things that we all agree with, that we all believe in," Posobiec added.
"If you are a British person, if you are of British ancestry, then you are the native people of Britain. The native people of Britain are the native people of Britain. It's as simple as that. And yet, these basic truths are completely expelled by the media. These basic facts of history, these basic facts of biology, that anyone can see. And yet, that birthright is denied. Britain is being denied its birthright, and it can no longer stand. The British people must rise up and take back their country. Must rise up and take back their government. Must rise up for the future of the British people.
Posobiec also addressed how societies fall apart, quoting the great writer Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, saying that Solzhenitsyn said the reason so much destruction came upon the Soviet Union was that the people "forgot God."
"The way out of this is absolutely simple. We must remember God and restore God to the very central core of Western civilization, where God is and always belonged, where He must be restored to His exact central core, because this is the foundation of our moral civilization. This is the foundation of what it means to be a member of the West. This is what it means here to be a member of Christian Europe, and it is only by turning to God that we can save the West."
