Biden’s approval rating plummeted below 40 percent for the first time since he took office, according to a new poll.

The Real Clear Politics average of all recent national surveys found that 39 percent of Americans approve of Biden’s performance in office, while 52 percent disapprove, the New York Post reports. The rest are unsure.

Biden’s approval rating has dropped below that of Trump, whose rating sank to 40 percent in 2017.

As previously reported by Human Events News, in January Biden’s approval rating dropped to 41 percent, according to a Pew Research Center poll.

The survey found Biden’s approval rating plummeted down from 44 percent in September and was significantly lower than the 59 percent he had in April.
