Polish member of EU parliament warns Americans that voting Democrat may lead to '70 years of occupation'

A Polish member of the European Parliament warned Americans against voting for Democrats in the 2026 midterm elections, arguing that socialism could threaten their freedoms and lead the country down a similar path Poland experienced under communist rule. Dominik Tarczynski delivered the warning during an appearance on Fox News’ Saturday in America as he discussed political unrest in Europe and the dangers of socialism.

“Socialism is death, slavery, lack of any freedoms. Please don’t do it. Don’t go through 70 years of occupation like Poland did,” Tarczynski warned.

Tarczynski spoke of his family’s experience growing up under communism in Poland, arguing that Americans should pay attention to the political landscape in Europe as they prepare to vote in Tuesday’s midterm elections. He described the “coalition between jihadists and so-called socialists,” whom he said are actually communists by their actions.

Tarczynski highlighted far-left talking points, many of which are pushed by the Democratic Socialists of America, including abolishing prisons and opening the borders. He said that left-wing voices in Europe echoed these talking points just a few years ago, and the continent has taken a wrong turn since then.

“Communism is hunger, death, and slavery,” he said. Tarczynski went on to point out that the far-left resorts to political violence when their goals are not achieved, using the assassination attempts of President Donald Trump as an example.

“There is a big difference between us, Republicans, conservatives, and the left, the communists. If they cannot win, they are using force, and this is war. We have to protect ourselves and next generations,” he said.

Issuing a warning to Americans, Tarczynski urged voters to recognize the radical elements of the far-left that serve as a threat to Western civilization. He pointed to churches, architecture, traditional values, and principles that radical voices on the left aim to destroy.

“You know what socialism is? Everyone is equal… equally hungry, and that’s what we went through,” he continued. “Please, don’t do it. Do not vote socialist for your next generations, for your children and grandchildren.”
