President Donald Trump spoke out against the riots currently consuming France, saying, "what's happening in France is nothing less than out-of-control mass migration. This isn't about schools, this is about Islam wanting to take over a once great Country!" Over 6,100 people have been arrested in the mayhem as 250,000 people have taken to the streets.

France has been consumed with riots that allegedly began as protests in favor of more education funding. Schools have been torched, people have been attacked, and now 40 cities have seen rioting and mayhem as police fight to control the crowds. Over 2,000 schools have closed and rioters have been waving Palestinian flags and attacking police with rocks, bottles, and projectiles.

The rioters claim to want more funding for schools. France spends an average of nearly $14,000 per student per year, which is less than the average in the United States but on par with other nations in Europe.

Researcher and author Michael Shellenberger also took issue with the claim that the riots are about education spending, saying that "Students are rioting because the French government spends too little to educate the children of migrants, say the media. But France spends between two and 200 times more per student than the nations from which its migrants come. The media refuses to report basic facts."

Many have stated, as has Trump, that the riots are less about education and more about mass migration. Shellenberg stated that the issue is the leftist alignment with Islamist political factions that seek to destroy Western life, societies, and culture.

French President Emmanuel Macron is planning to meet with "key ministers," France 24 reported, to figure out how to deal with the protests. Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu said that there's "no room for tolerance of violence."

"Burning down a high school does not improve the state of high school buildings. Lynching a teacher does not help replace teachers," he said.

Mayor of immigrant neighborhood Seine-Saint Denis, Bally Bagayoko, encouraged the rioting, joining with them, smiling and high-fiving them. "Trash your high school," he said.
