Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec warned that the Democratic Party is increasingly being shaped by socialist candidates after Angie Nixon won the Florida Democrat primary for US Senate, pointing to her membership in the Democratic Socialists of America.
Posobiec contrasted Nixon’s victory with recent Democratic primary losses to socialists elsewhere, arguing that the results show a broader trend within the party. He said Democrats he has spoken with in Pennsylvania and Florida are increasingly concerned about the direction of their party.
“The socialist revolution is marching on. You thought we were done. You thought they said, oh, Wisconsin, you know, Francesca Hong wasn't able to win.”
Posobiec then pointed to Nixon’s victory, describing her as an “absolute committed radical” who won what he characterized as a "resounding" 10-point victory. “Nixon is an open member of the Democrat Socialists of America. She wants full-on subversion of this country.”
He said the recent primary results are evidence that socialist politics are gaining ground among Democrats, while arguing that the movement has a recognizable ideological history. “Where did it come from? Where is it going? That's why we had to release the second edition of Unhumans: Socialist Revolution, because these people are completely insane. But at the same time, we know where they come from. We have their playbook, and we are putting out the facts.”
Posobiec also slammed Nixon's support for drag queens and sexualization of children. “Of course, it's about sexualization of the children. The same way that the drag queens up there mocking the murder of my friend, mocking Charlie, laughing about it. Do you understand?”
He went on to make broader claims about the threat he believes socialist activists pose to children and families. “These Bolsheviks will kill us all. And they will take our children and trans them and do unspeakable things to our children. And they will laugh about it. And they will think it's funny. And they'll go on TikTok and say it was your fault they had to do it."
"But I want folks to understand it is a tactic. It is a tactic that she is using, whether it's cafe resistance that she runs out of Jacksonville. These Marxist tactics are winning, folks.”
