UK police launch manhunt for suspect who displayed 'I fully support Hamas' sign

The United Kingdom Metropolitan Police is requesting the public's help in identifying a suspect who showcased a sign that read "I fully support Hamas" during an anti-Israel demonstration in London on Saturday.

The sign in support of terrorism was held up among a crowd of tens of thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators who called for the creation of "Muslim armies" and a ceasefire in Gaza. Multiple arrests were made as tension escalated throughout the day.

Metro Police wrote about the incident on X saying, "Our #PublicOrder crime team having been working hard over the last two days & are asking for your assistance. This image has been sent into us and was taken on Bond Street W1 yesterday, 21/10/2023. Were you there? Did you see who was holding this sign? Please call us on 101 quoting Crime Reference Number 5121298/23. We really appreciate your help."

Under the Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Act established in 2019, UK law states: "It is illegal to recklessly express support for, or publish images of flags, emblems or clothing in a way which suggests you are a member or supporter of a proscribed organization and certain preparatory terrorism offenses, including encouragement of terrorism or the dissemination of terrorist publications."

The Act was established following the deadly Islamic terrorist attacks carried out in London and Manchester in 2017. The maximum penalty for breaking this law carries a prison sentence of 15 years.

The Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel earlier this month which killed more than 1400 Israeli civilians have sparked division around the world. Despite the brutal massacre of innocent Israelis, including children and babies, pro-Palestinian protesters (who are predominately made up of Muslims and far-leftists) have flooded city streets in support of both Hamas and the Palestinians.

London has been at the center of these anti-Israel protests and on Saturday thousands of Muslims called for the creation of "Muslim armies" in order to carry out attacks against Israel, while some called for jihad, according to video taken by The Post Millennial's senior editor, Andy Ngo.

As the demonstration went on throughout the day, pro-Palestinian protesters assaulted metro police officers which resulted in multiple arrests. Police had a strong presence on the ground which angered the crowd because police prevented the group from protesting outside of the Israeli Embassy in Kensington.

The pro-Palestinian demonstration also included sex-segregated rallies in compliance with Sharia law.
