CHARLIE KIRK asks 'Why does no one mention peace?' as Zelensky meets with Biden at White House

“Why is no one in the American government mentioning a peace deal? As if it's some sort of foreign concept?”

“Why is no one in the American government mentioning a peace deal? As if it's some sort of foreign concept?”

Amid pleas from Ukrainian President Zelensky and the Biden admin to Congress for $24 billion in additional funding to Ukraine, Charlie Kirk posited why there has been no suggestion of a peace deal on his podcast Thursday.

He played a clip from Fox News that showed a discussion between Laura Ingraham and Josh Hawley about the subject:

“Here's what I heard just today, Laura, I heard briefed by the administration, that this newest request for 24 billion more dollars… US dollars, it’s not the end. It's not even close to the end. They want us to be writing checks to Ukraine direct to their government forever, year after year, hundreds of billions of dollars. That is ridiculous.”

“For what?” Josh Hawley asked. “What's the strategy? What's the end game? They don't have one. It is nothing but nation building. It is nothing but in failing to invest in the United States. Laura, we have to stop this. It's crazy.”

Kirk made a point to thank Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Mike Brain Roger, Marshall, Tommy Tuberville and JD Vance, the six Republican senators who signed a letter on Thursday, vowing to oppose additional funding to Ukraine.

This comes as Zelensky is meeting with Biden in the White House, where he said upon entering the Oval Office:

“Today I’m in Washington to strengthen our coalition to defend Ukrainian children, families, our homes, freedom and democracy in the world. And I started my day in the US Congress to thank its members and the people in America for their big, huge support.”

The letter from the Congress members reads: “The American people deserve to know what their money has gone to. How is the counteroffensive going? Are the Ukrainians any closer to victory than they were 6 months ago? What is our strategy, and what is the president’s exit plan? What does the administration define as victory in Ukraine?”

Kirk then played the 60 Minutes interview with the Ukrainian president in which he said he does “not have an answer” about how much more money it will take for a resolution to take place and that “The whole world has to decide whether we want to stop Putin or whether we want to start the beginning of a world war.”

“Why does no one mention peace?” Kirk responded.

“Why is no one in the American government mentioning a peace deal? As if it's some sort of foreign concept?”

He reminded his audience that both Donald Trump and Elon Musk have put forward peace deals.

“But America doesn't want peace. Both political parties Republican and Democrat. They love war. They are blood thirsty for war. They don't care about kids getting killed. They don't care about displacement. They don't care about refugees.”

“They just want backwards upside down money laundering to their preferred charities or natural gas companies called Burisma.”

He stated that in lieu of mentioning peace, “Republicans and Democrats want the Third-World-ification of America.”

He reminded his audience that “many [Ukrainians] are on the terror watchlist, you know that. They're smuggling kids. They're bringing drugs.“

Kirk referred back to the US government giving a seemingly endless supply of funds to Zelensky and Ukraine.

“You are living through the suicide of a superpower,” Kirk concluded. “Another country is not doing this to us… This is manmade man created. Your leaders are slitting the throat of Lady Liberty.”
