Now, in 2023, civil servants have reenacted a “thrill going up a leg.” Believing the show of rapture displayed by the House Democrats reacting to the House Minority Leader necessitates one to have either been in a coma since 2020 or in total surrender mode.
On Jan. 7, after McCarthy became House Speaker on the 15th ballot, New York Democrat Hakeem Jeffries took the podium for his maiden speech. He riffed off of two years of utter propaganda and misinformation. The mainstream media has been scant to push back. Jeffries gyrated while giving the address, which was a crude combination of puerile inaccuracies, outright lies, and insults. The House Democrats were transfixed, on their feet and davening, wildly applauding, and hollering in appreciation of Jeffries' tantric verses.
Demonstrating his mastery of the alphabet, Jeffries produced a word salad of bumper sticker phrases ranging from “A” to “Z.” This wasn’t George Washington material; it wasn’t even Obama “thrill up the leg” material. It provided a stark difference between House Republicans, who internally sparred for four days, hashing out opposing views and stating positions in full sentences, versus House Democrats, who are unable to speak, let alone think, in complete sentences. From Biden to Kamala Harris to Fetterman to New York City Mayor Adams to Jeffries, one needs a decoder to make it make sense.
Here is what Jeffries said that caused the thrill to go up the House Democrat’s legs:
“House Democrats will always put American values over autocracy. Benevolence over bigotry. The Constitution over the cult. Democracy over demagogues. Economic opportunity over extremism. Freedom over fascism. Governing over gaslighting. Hopefulness over hatred. Inclusion over isolation. Justice over judicial overreach. Knowledge over kangaroo courts. Liberty over limitation. Maturity over Mar-a-Lago. Normalcy over negativity. Opportunity over obstruction. People over politics. Quality of life issues over QAnon. Reason over racism. Substance over slander. Triumph over tyranny. Understanding over ugliness. Voting rights over voting suppression. Working families over the well connected. Xenia over xenophobia. Yes, we can, over you can do it, and zealous representation over zero-sum confrontation. We will always do the right thing by the American people. So let us not grow weary of doing good. The American people will reap the benefit of the harvest if we do not give up. G-d bless you. G-d bless the House. And G-d bless the United States of America.”
Let’s dare to break this down. First, Democrats reject American values; they tell us all the time. This is the political party that brought us 1619 (a fictitious history of some country’s founding that is twisted to imply America) and CRT (which is a complete denial of the American experiment described contemporaneously by Toqueville which has lifted half the world out of poverty over the past 240 years). That Jeffries received such thunderous applause merely illustrates the thoughtless disciple of a gaggle of Jacobins on their side of the aisle.
The “Justice over judicial overreach. Knowledge over kangaroo courts. Liberty over limitation” bit is a mirthless joke. As releases from the Twitter files show, the public has proof that the Democrats instructed their proxies to restrict free speech and targeted Conservatives on media platforms. For those not on Twitter or following the news but who lived through COVID lockdowns, cruelest in Democrat bastions, we question the Democrats' ability to define liberty. We also question their working definition of knowledge. To date, teachers’ unions working in concert with Democrats have yet to acknowledge the destruction of a generation forced to miss two years of in-person school and subjected to mandates. Learning loss, and social, emotional, and behavioral decline, has been caused only by the Democrats' response to the pandemic. They rejected the knowledge that even the CDC pointed out would be calamitous before it was cowed by the teachers’ unions to retract the uselessness of masks.
As Jeffries spoke on behalf of “House Democrats,” we can only assume that he believes, as well as his entranced supporters, that the House Republicans are a cult of QAnon bigots, racists, fascists, extremists, and xenophobes who hatch voting suppression ideas at Mar-a-Lago. Jeffries stumbled into alliteration to let us know that the “House Democrats” stand for “normalcy over negativity.”
Summing up the alphabet soup, Jeffries said, “We will always do the right thing by the American people. So let us not grow weary of doing good. The American people will reap the benefit of the harvest if we do not give up.” Can Jeffries or any Democrat explain what America is and what Americans are? In his paean to America, Jeffries conveniently disregards the Southern Border. One of the prominent things being harvested is fentanyl. What in fresh hell is Jeffries saying? Whatever it is, it’s in direct contradiction with his caucus’ stance on illegals. And “doing good”; what good is occurring?
If we get into WW3, we can thank the Democrats; escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine have left us broke and vulnerable. This is “thrill up the leg” for other regimes wanting to hobble America. At least we have a strong military focused on gender and pronouns.
Jeffries' pathetic drivel must be mocked. We cannot allow mainstream media to crown another disaster so the “thrill up their leg” gets us deeper in the soup.
