The House January 6th Inquisition on Monday voted unanimously to recommend Congress hold Peter Navarro and Dan Scavino in criminal contempt and refer them for prosecution.

As previously reported by Human Events News, the report, released Sunday, said Scavino and Navarro refused to “produce documents or appear for a deposition.”

“Despite all these extensions, to date, Mr. Scavino has not produced a single document, nor has he appeared for testimony,” the committee wrote.

“Mr. Navarro had a brief exchange with Select Committee staff after accepting service of the subpoena and also made public comments indicating that he would not appear or provide documents as required by the subpoena,” the report continues.

The decision will now head to the full House for a vote.

If passed, the report will go to the Department of Justice, which will decide whether or not to pursue charges.
