Joe Biden is taking his travels past Delaware this week, heading to Poland during a trip to Europe.
Biden will be visiting Europe for urgent talks with NATO and European allies amid the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.
First, he will travel to Brussels, then to Poland to meet with President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw, where he will discuss the U.S. and allies’ “humanitarian” response to the “human rights crisis that Russia’s unjustified and unprovoked war on Ukraine has created,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said.
As reported by Just the News, the trip will include a Thursday summit with NATO leaders where they will discuss strengthening the European bloc’s general deterrence and defense strategies against Putin.
He will also participate in a European Council summit to discuss sanctions against Russia and humanitarian efforts for Ukrainian citizens.
