House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy on Thursday endorsed attorney Harriet Hageman in the Wyoming GOP primary.

Hageman, who is running against Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, was also endorsed by Trump.

“After spending time with Harriet, it is readily apparent she will always listen and prioritize the needs of her local communities and is focused on tackling our nation’s biggest problems,” McCarthy said, per Just the News. “I look forward to serving with Harriet for years to come.”

According to the biography on her website, Hageman has been “fighting back” against federal agencies that attempt to strip Americans of their rights for the last 20 years.

“Liz Cheney cast her lot with Washington, D.C. elites and those who use their power to further their own agenda at our expense,” a statement on her website reads. “She doesn’t represent Wyoming and she doesn’t represent conservatives. We deserve better. We demand better.
