In what has become something of a pattern, on this episode of Human’s Making News: The Dissident’s Desk, Brent Hamachek talks to former U.S. serviceman, and current author of a children's book, Graham Allen, who now seeks to serve his country in a suit and tie in Washington instead of in a uniform on the battlefield.

Allen is running for Congress in South Carolina and supports an “America first” agenda. Through his rural upbringing and service, Graham developed a profound appreciation for America and an unwavering belief in our founding principles. After leaving active duty, Graham launched social media-based radio and television programs to advocate for conservative principles and common sense. He and his wife founded the Dear America Foundation, a charity whose mission is to "serve those that serve" by providing financial support to the families of veterans, law enforcement officers, and first responders undergoing hardship.

Allen also recently released a new children’s book called "Son of Truth,” teaching the next generation the value of the truth even when it may be difficult to express.
