President Trump announced Wednesday that he will soon launch his long awaited social media platform called “TRUTH Social” as part of Trump Media & Technology Group.
“I created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech,” Trump said in a statement, per Just the News. “We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American president has been silenced. This is unacceptable. I am excited to send out my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon.”
The new media group has tapped Scott St. John, executive producers of programs including Deal or No Deal and America’s Got Talent as its leader.
The network, according to Trump, has one mission: to “give a voice to all.”
He said he’ll also be launching a subscription news and entertainment platform.
