In the latest win for Big Tech, a federal judge dismissed antitrust lawsuits filed by the federal government and most states. 

U.S. District Judge James Boasberg granted the company’s request to dismiss lawsuits filed by the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general in December, the Wall Street Journal reports

Judge Boasberg argued that the lawsuit was “legally insufficient” because it didn’t provide enough allegations to support the monopolization claims against the social media platform. 

The commission, however, can try again and give 30 days to attempt to file an amended lawsuit 

The judge dismissed the states’ entire case, arguing that the attorneys general waited too long to state their claims.
