Here’s Why Americans Need to Be More Skeptical About COVID-19 Information

Editor's note:  The author of this piece has indicated that based upon extensive research there are no studies that have been published that indicate that the use of HCQ or Ivermectin, administered early and in combination with zinc, is not effective in treating COVID 19.

Conversely, there is research cited in the piece that shows the effectiveness of the treatment protocol.

The author states that if any research can be produced to the contrary, he will personally issue a retraction or clarification as is warranted.

It is no secret that information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic has been controlled, manipulated and even ignored by the higher ups in medicine and the government.

As a result, perhaps the general public has been too trusting and un-skeptical of what’s really going on. Or, conversely, the American public has been instilled with an inordinately high level of fear.

In a CNN documentary released Sunday called COVID WAR: The Pandemic Doctors Speak Out, six medical experts opened up about their experience trying to contain the disease during President Trump’s administration.

The segment included interviews with Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx and Dr. Redfield, who each held advisory positions under Trump.

Of note, Dr. Redfield, who led the CDC, told CNN he personally believes COVID may have originated inside a Chinese laboratory, an idea that is not uncommon, but believed by many in the scientific community to be a conspiracy.

“I am of the point of view that I still think the most likely etiology of this pathogen in Wuhan was from a laboratory, escaped. Other people don’t believe that. That’s fine. Science will eventually figure it out. It’s not unusual for respiratory pathogens that are being worked on in a laboratory to infect the laboratory worker,” Redfield said.

But, he did not go any further than that.

In a video released prior to the CNN extravaganza, Dr. Richard Fleming suggests that there is more for people to consider than just the lab origination.

He urged viewers to give Redfield the benefit of the doubt, providing troves of scientific evidence as well as evidence of U.S. federal funding for coronavirus research over the last two decades.

This funding, which came straight from taxpayer’s pockets, was going to the Wuhan Virology Institute.

If you are interested in further research, the video can be found here.

Another key piece of information overlooked comes from Dr. Birx herself.

Birx suggested that many of the deaths over 100,000 could have been prevented, but without sharing specifics. Indeed, research suggests that a combination of antiviral therapies could have done exactly that. Hydroxycloroquine (HCQ), when taken with zinc, could have prevented deaths. Zinc is a known inhibitor of coronavirus replication, and when taken in a high enough dose, it has been effective in early treatment of high-risk outpatients with the virus. HCQ is the drug that opens zinc's pathway to the cell.

Unfortunately, for an untold number of Americans, the politicization of HCQ after President Trump's initial endorsement made the drug, and its necessary sidekick zinc, unavailable to most people either as a prophylactic or for early treatment within 3-5 days of diagnosis/onset.

We have been programmed to believe that nothing can get rid of or mitigate the infectiousness of the virus. But, these same measures were cited early on by people like Dr. Vladimir Zelenko and Dr. Keith Rose.

In a Human Events interview, Zelenko urged that hydroxychloroquine and zinc can both help to prevent or mitigate the contraction of the virus, or can actually treat the disease post-diagnosis.

“HCQ is the safest medication that can be described,” he said. “It has been around for 65 years and has been used to treat a number of conditions without adverse side effects.”

“My own treatment of patients within high-risk groups, along with independent research, have shown that hospitalizations can be reduced by 84% by using protocols that involve both HCQ and Zinc,” he added. Zelenko lamented the lack of the drug's use by physicians and its proscription by a number of state governors. "The two greatest factors that impact your COVID outcome are the state you live in and the doctor you choose," he said.

From the beginning, Dr. Keith Rose, like Zelenko, had been using a similar treatment protocol as Zelenko's in his clinics and with great success. He also made the compelling case early on that the virus had to have come from a laboratory, not from a naturally occuring mutation. Such statements can be found archived on his own podcast site, The Scalpel, in particular in episodes 84, 86-89, and 91.

It is clear that, throughout the entirety of the pandemic, there have been countless experts speaking truth and science. These are just a few of them.

At Human Events News we are committed to encouraging readers to always embrace skepticism when considering the pronouncements from any position of authortiy. Sunday night's revelations, coupled with the past statements from experts who were either silenced or dismissed, suggest that in the case of COVID-19, Americans failed to show the required amount of skepticism.
