New York City June 10, 1992 hosted a "Operation Welcome Home" parade through its Canyon of Hereos to celebrate the veterans of the First Gulf War. American military units were joined by units from from all members of the coalition that liberated Kuwait, except Syria, but including Israel.

The Army Times reports that New Yorkers are calling for a parade to welcome home veterans of the Iraqi War to celebrate their valor and sacrifice.
