Nicholas Vardy is Human Events' International Economics and Investment Correspondent, focusing on how worldwide business events and trends affect stock markets and politics.

Mr. Vardy has been a regular commentator on CNN International, appearing on "The Other Europe" and "World Business Tonight" more than 50 times. He is the Editor of The Global Guru, Global Bull Market Alert, and Global Stock Investor, all published by Human Events' parent company, Eagle Publishing, Inc.

Mr. Vardy graduated from Stanford with a B.A. - with honors and distinction - in both Economics and History, and he also earned an M.A in Modern European Intellectual History. After winning a Fulbright Scholarship, he earned his J.D. at Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard International Law Journal. In 1997, Mr. Vardy earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, becoming one of the fewer than 100 attorneys in the United States to do so.
