Jack Posobiec criticized the actions of the security measures in the seconds leading up to when Cole Allen, the man charged with attempting to kill Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, rushed the security outside the event space, saying that "people are going to get killed" if people aren’t proactive about "these left-wing Bolsheviks in this country."
Speaking on a video released by the Department of Justice on Friday, Posobiec said, "we've got another communist here in 4K. The new video that just came out from the Department of Justice and US Attorney Jeanine Pirro, where you see this guy, this Bolshevik reactionary freak running into the magnetometers and then coming in the hallway with a shotgun."
He said at the same moment, the Secret Service is seen beginning to disassemble security measures. "They're dropping the security perimeter, even as the President, the Vice President, the First Lady and the cabinet are sitting there inside, they were dropping security measures."
"I wanna be very clear on this. Look at the video. Security was being dropped, was being shut down while the President and all of the guests were inside. Does that seem safe to you? You had the dog in there. The dog went into the door. You couldn't follow the dog? The dog went in there twice. At the top of the video, the dog goes in there twice, saying, hey, I think there's something wrong inside. Here. The handler pulls him away. They walk out."
"You got the TSA leaning up against the wall. Remember? You got time to lean, you got time to clean. First time they've ever seen a terrorist. Then you got all the other uniforms and everybody else sitting there. You get one guy who's able, and God bless him, one guy was at least able to get a couple of rounds off."
He continued, "This guy played you. He penetrated your security, the security that you were breaking down. There's no sense of urgency here. There's no sense of the violence that's about to occur."
Posobiec later added, "Imagine if he had made it down the stairs in a loaded shotgun with daggers with bullets. Now you need retraining. People should be ashamed at the absolute breakdown and the lack of urgency. "
