It’s been a bad day for congressional Democrats. Their “culture of corruption” message has lost its meaning now that more Democrats are likely to go to prison than Republicans. And their fearless leader, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.), was caught trumpeting Republican blogs. Yes, you read that correctly.

Pelosi was so embarrassed about her how-to guide to blogging that her office decided it was better to pull it from her website than keep it online. What was so embarrassing about it?

Well, it turns out Pelosi thinks highly of several Republican members’ blogs. On her how-to guide’s list of examples, five of the seven websites Pelosi recognizes are run by Republicans:

Speaker Dennis Hastert (R.-Ill.)
Rep. Jack Kingston (R.-Ill.)
Rep. Mark Steven Kirk (R.-Ill.)
Rep. Mike Pence (R.-Ind.)
Rep. John Boozman (R.-Ark.)

Kingston, one of the most prolific House GOP bloggers, made light of the situation today. His post on Pelosi is worth reading.
