According to the New York Daily News, Hillary has grown tired of getting blindsided by her husband, and has now insisted that the ex-president give her "final say" over what he says and does.
The Clinton confusion over the Dubai ports deal was evidently the last straw.
"He knows it's Hillary's time now," said an adviser close to the happy couple who expects to play a key role in her likely 2008 presidential campaign.
This isn't the first time Bill has been censored by Hill, as a longtime aide noted "that was true in the White House during the [2000] Senate campaign. If he said the sky was blue and she said the sky was purple, then the sky was purple."
Of course, Hillary has endured Bill's "surprises" for decades, especially female surprises. She should be used to it by now.
