Sen. Teddy Kennedy is writing a book through the eyes of a dog. And no, this isn't a cheap shot Human Events is taking at the senator our readers voted "biggest windbag" of Judge Alito's Supreme Court confirmation hearings. The Hill reported yesterday that Kennedy will soon release My Senator and Me: A Dog's View of Wahington D.C. My summarization wouldn't do the write-up justice. It's reprinted below:

"Due out in May and published by Scholastic Inc., the book takes the reader on a journey through the eyes of his beloved Portuguese waterdog, Splash. The reader gets to see how Splash reacts to press conferences, meetings with school groups, committee discussions and floor votes. The result, says the publisher, is a 'behind-the-scenes look at the life of one of the most energetic figures in American politics-and of course, his equally famous owner.'"

I found you can even pre-order a copy  of the book on Amazon.( It's going for $11.55 in case you were wondering.)

Woof.
