During his visit to Bloggers’ Row this afternoon, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R.-Utah) ridiculed Senate Democrats for their most recent attacks on Samuel Alito.
Hatch said: “This is the best they can do? Vanguard and CAP? Why are they going to such extremes to look ridiculous?”
As he has done in the past, Hatch repeated his belief that the Democrats’ are leading their attack with the sole intent of preserving Roe v. Wade. He said a review of the left’s fundraising material shows clearly their ability to raise money by citing the threat to abortion.
