I'm blogging today alongside a half-dozen others who are stationed in the Dirksen Senate Office Building watching the Alito hearings on a big-screen TV.

Why, you ask, would I give up a seat in the hearing room for a table and a quiet room in the building next door?

It's because today I'll be bringing you some exclusive content that reporters stationed behind Alito won't have.

Throughout the day, those of us on Bloggers' Row will be visited by Senators John Cornyn (Tex.), Jon Kyl (Ariz.) and Sam Brownback (Kan.). We will also get briefed from other Senate staffers as the day progresses.

So stay tuned for the latest updates on Alito right here at AlitoBlog.com.
