Coca-Cola executives order assassinations in Columbia. Yes, that’s the latest charge leftists are making in academia. Ray Rogers, director of the Campaign to Stop Killer Coke, has successfully encouraged noted universities, such as NYU and the University of Michigan, to bar Coca-Cola on campus. Not only is Coca-Cola supposedly leading Columbian death squads, but they are also allegedly roughing-up union members.
Let’s be real. Coke wants to sell their product; they are not pretending to be the Don Corleone of soft beverages. As a matter of fact, one-third of Coke’s employees in Columbia are unionized, compared to the flimsy *4* percent of Columbia’s entire workforce. But even if this weren’t the case and Coke decided to ban unionizing outright, that still wouldn’t matter. American companies such as Coca-Cola consistently provide jobs in Latin American countries that those countries could never provide for their own citizens.
If Coca-Cola does have professional assassins on their payroll, maybe the company help track down and kill Osama bin Laden?
