Bill and Hillary observed their 30th wedding anniversary a couple of months ago. The former President told an audience at a Manhattan fundraiser for the senator that he had bought his wife three expensive paintings by artist Wolf Kahn.
He also used the occasion to appear contrite for his occasional “misstep.” Bill hugged Hill and kissed her forehead, telling the crowd, “After all she’s been through, I think I got off pretty lightly.” Hillary replied, “I thank you for the 30 years we’ve had. I’m grateful for all the things we’ve been able to be…over those years.”
It was not revealed whether the paintings cost as much as the fundraiser raised for Hillary’s re-election - more than $500,000.
