CARACAS, Venezuela - A Venezuelan labor leader who helped organize a strike against President Hugo Chavez three years ago was sentenced on Tuesday to more than 15 years in prison for civil rebellion.

To many who remember the early years of Castro's "humanistic" revolution, it's deja vu all over again-with a major difference: Castro would have lined up the labor leader in front of a firing squad.
