I had fiber installed at home this Saturday to replace DSL.  Huge Giant Telco crossed lines so that junk faxes rang at 3:30 and 4:00 a.m.

They also neglected to switch our main number from copper.  Said number then got “lost” in their system, so nobody could reach us.  When I called for service, a phone tree informed me I was not a customer.  The number has since been restored.

Oh, and the fiber isn’t compatible with our wireless router and I can’t access my email. But other than, it’s really swell. Interesting factoid: Their voice recognition software can understand shouting.
