I went very hard at Associated Press’ Deb Riechmann in my wordy (4200 of them) column Wednesday.  For those of you who didn’t make it through the entire column, please scroll to the bottom to get to my excerpt on Deb Riechmann.

Here is her filing regarding President Bush’s speech today.  It seems to be impossible for her to simply report the message without including her biased interjection.  In this dispatch, which is already being picked up in major newspapers, Reichmann makes sure to update the death toll.

I guess I see bias everywhere, but I truly can’t understand an objective reason for an AP reporter to go out of her way to include this information into this story.
