Just to follow-up on my previous blog about Ken Mehlman’s conference call to conservative bloggers – it appears Patrick Ruffini, the former Bush/Cheney ’04 webmaster (who was just hired by the RNC), was instrumental in organizing this call. Patrick is very sharp, and from a PR perspective, I think it’s too bad that he didn’t come on board a couple of weeks ago. It might have stemmed the tide of conservative blogger backlash.
