When I left Judge Roberts’ confirmation hearings yesterday from the Hart building, directly in front of me were a large group of pro-aborts shouting, “What do we want? Women’s rights! When do we want them? Now!”
But, just down the street from the chanting ladies was J.R. Quinn from Bethesda, Md. Alone, he held a single white poster that simply read: IMPEACH ALL DEMOCRATS in bold, black letters.
He said he wanted to show his support for Roberts and was against the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee. I asked him what he thought of the ladies protesting and he laughed, “Oh, they’re tame. They’re nothing, I’ve got ‘em beat.”
Most of the reaction Quinn got from his sign was positive. He said, “I’ve got a lot of thumbs up, smiles and laughs. A couple of thumbs down, but mostly thumbs up.”
