Let’s not pat The Yankees on the backs quite yet.

While a $1 million dollar donation is meaningful to say the least, let’s put this into perspective. The Yankees, America’s highest paid professional baseball team has a payroll of $208,306,817 per season, which breaks down to $1,285,844 per game in a full 162 game season.

Basically, the Yankees have donated seven innings of pay.

Add in the $1 million for Tsunami relief, and you've almost got enough for a daylight double-header.
