4. Brother Robert F. Kennedy, U.S. senator from New York from 1964-68, nephew Joseph P. Kennedy, U.S. representative from Massachusetts from 1986-98, and son Patrick J. Kennedy, U.S. representative from Rhode Island since 1994.
