Book Details.
Edward Klein’s new book, The Truth About Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew It, and How Far She’ll Go to Become President (available at HEBookService.com), is creating quite a buzz with the excerpts that have been revealed so far in Vanity Fair. Klein reported that then-Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D.-N.Y.), who endorsed then-First Lady Clinton for his seat, actually despised Hillary. One reason was that Moynihan thought she was lying when she told people he never held hearings on her health care plan, when he had convened numerous hearings. And Liz Moynihan is described as telling a “friend” that Clinton is “duplicitous” and “would say or do anything that would forward her ambitions.”

In reaction to this report, Hillary’s mouthpiece said only: “Sen. Clinton will always be proud to have had the support of Sen. Moynihan and wishes she still had his wisdom and counsel. Beyond that, we don’t comment on works of fiction, let alone a book full of blatant fabrications.” Meanwhile, Maura, daughter of the Moynihans, was at Clinton’s side at a $250,000 New York fund-raiser.

The Drudge Report also revealed some of Klein’s book, with an outrageous story that then-Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton raped his wife, resulting in the conception of Chelsea. Klein quotes Bill Clinton as allegedly bragging on a Bermuda trip in 1979, “I’m going back to my cottage to rape my wife,” and Klein’s source claims that the next morning, the Clintons’ room “looked like World War III. There are pillows and busted-up furniture all over the place.” Klein’s unnamed source also claimed that Bill Clinton learned Hillary was pregnant by reading about it in the local newspaper. “The fact that his wife didn’t tell him that she was pregnant before she told a reporter doesn’t seem to phase him one bit,” says the source, “because he says, ‘Do you know what night that happened?’ ‘No,’ I say. ‘When?’ ‘It was Bermuda,’ he says, ‘And you were there!’”

Asking for Cash.
Hillary’s Senate campaign recently sent out a fund-raising e-mail message, in which the senator told her supporters that the GOP is still prepared to exercise the so-called “nuclear option.” Said Hill: “Last week the Senate averted the ‘nuclear option’—the attempt by the White House and Republican leadership to end America’s 200-year-old tradition of checks and balances. Now, we are fighting every day to prevent attempts by the same people to remake America in their image.” Then came the plea for cash: “I need your help to fight back,” despite the fact that she has no serious opposition for the 2006 election and she has nearly $9 million in the bank. The New York Post reports that Hillary is using more than four dozen of her husband’s White House VIP sleepover guests and their families to get campaign contributions for her potential 2008 presidential run.

She’s in the Money.
Hillary recently revealed her wealth in financial disclosure forms, as required by Senate rules. In addition to her Senate salary of more than $158,000, she reported earning more than $2.3 million last year in book royalties, and has made nearly $8.7 million from her best-selling Living History. She also reported a joint bank account valued between $5 million and $25 million and a blind trust also worth between $5 million and $25 million. The new financial filings showed that the Clintons have now apparently paid off all their millions of dollars of Whitewater-related debt. Under the Senate’s reporting rules, former President Clinton, as the spouse of a senator, is required to report only that he received “more than $1,000” in payments for his best-selling autobiography My Life, even though published reports have said he signed a deal worth $10 million to $12 million with his publisher.

Viagra Falls.
It was recently discovered that Viagra was given to sex offenders under the Medicaid program, the result of a policy instituted by Hillary’s husband in 1998.  Now, it appears that Sen. Clinton wants to stop the taxpayer funding of erectile-dysfunction drugs. “She does not believe anyone on Medicaid should have Viagra paid for,” said her spokesman, Philippe Reines. One of Hillary’s potential 2006 opponents, Jeanine Pirro, blasted the government giveaway of Viagra. “By paying for their Viagra, it amounts to state-assisted sexual assault,” Pirro said. New York officials recently learned that nearly 200 convicted sex offenders were using Medicaid to get the drug, a fact which Pirro said has likely led to further sexual attacks. Said Pirro: “My office has prosecuted cases where pedophiles have used Viagra on children, where 86-year-old pedophiles are using Viagra, so they can continue to molest our children.”
