HUMAN EVENTS has learned that Vice President Dick Cheney has agreed to speak at the 32nd annual meeting of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). CPAC is the nation??¢â???¬â???¢s largest gathering of grassroots conservative leaders and activists and was a favorite annual event of President Ronald Reagan.

Mr. Cheney, who did speak at CPAC last year, will be the featured speaker at the "Presidential Dinner" on Thursday, February 17.

As HUMAN EVENTS reported yesterday, also speaking at this year's event will be bestselling author Ann Coulter, one of the conservative movement's favorite pundits.

According to sponsors, this year's conference is expected to draw over 4,000. For continued updates on the program or to register online, visit www.cpac.org.

"CPAC" is not a "political action committee (PAC)" as defined by federal law. The conference name and initials predate the creation of those entities and is merely coincidental.
