So the GOP: the Gen Z numbers with the GOP are down. The Iran War is not popular with Gen Z. They are done with it. They can't stand it. They think that it's a rug pull, and so all the GOP had to do was not attack young white men between now and Election Day.
All you had to do, or maybe— just maybe—show you actually care about their issues. That's what we talked about as the Charlie Kirk plan to fight socialism. Well, that's what we said they should do, and in fact, we have a whole chapter on it in the new book Unhumans: Socialist Revolution. But then we woke up this morning and we saw this.
Guys, what are you doing? It's the same corporate slop that we see over and over depicted in media.
By the way, I like Sarah Huckabee Sanders. This is actually good policy. I support the policy of saying that welfare should have a work requirement, I'm a guy who used to work for Rick Santorum. He's the guy who came up with that back in the 1990s.
Here's the problem, though: you're depicting "the average welfare recipient" as a Gen Z white man who's just sitting at home and playing video games, and this group has been demonized in corporate media, Hollywood media, streaming media, all over the place in every single ad, and of course now the Republicans are getting on it as well.
The only group in America that there's no taboo to attack whatsoever is white men, and look, that's what the GOP is now doing. It is tone deaf. It is disgraceful, and honestly, it should be apologized for.
This should be taken down, and there should be an apology to the young white men in this country. This is disgraceful. It's absolutely disgraceful and piling on.
By the way, let's go to Walmart, which I did. By the way, over the last 10 years, Walmart has put out 20,000 petitions for H-1Bs, and in their corporate tech side, Walmart, which is based in Arkansas, pays six figures to H-1B scab labor. So maybe there's a little bit more going on. This is tone-deaf, the governor's office should apologize for putting it out.
