The United States has intercepted encrypted communications from Iran that authorities believe are “an operational trigger" for “sleeper assets” outside the country, according to a memo sent out to federal law enforcement agencies around the US.

The memo cites "preliminary signals analysis" of a transmission "likely of Iranian origin" that was sent across multiple countries after the US and Israeli forces killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on February 28, per ABC News.

It is possible that the message could "be intended to activate or provide instructions to prepositioned sleeper assets operating outside the originating country," the alert sent out to law enforcement said. The message appeared to be sent to "clandestine recipients" who have the key to the encrypted messages.

"While the exact contents of these transmissions cannot currently be determined, the sudden appearance of a new station with international rebroadcast characteristics warrants heightened situational awareness," the alert added.

The alert said that while there is "no operational threat tied to a specific location," law enforcement agencies have been told to increase monitoring of radio activity that seems suspect.

There have been fears that there may be sleeper cells in the US and in Israel that can be deployed as a way to retaliate to the attacks that have been conducted in Iran. Thus far, 7 Americans have been killed in enemy attacks during the operation against Iran, dubbed Operation Epic Fury.

The US and Israeli military have severely degraded the Iranian regime’s capacity to fight the war as the conflict has raged over the last week.

Over the weekend, President Donald Trump said about the conflict in Iran, Iran, which is being beat to HELL, has apologized and surrendered to its Middle East neighbors, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore. This promise was only made because of the relentless U.S. and Israeli attack. They were looking to take over and rule the Middle East. It is the first time that Iran has ever lost, in thousands of years, to surrounding Middle Eastern Countries. They have said, “Thank you President Trump.” I have said, “You’re welcome!” Iran is no longer the “Bully of the Middle East,” they are, instead, “THE LOSER OF THE MIDDLE EAST,” and will be for many decades until they surrender or, more likely, completely collapse! Today Iran will be hit very hard! Under serious consideration for complete destruction and certain death, because of Iran’s bad behavior, are areas and groups of people that were not considered for targeting up until this moment in time. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
