JACK POSOBIEC: ‘If you are a conservative in America today, you could be killed’

Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec warned that political violence in America has reached a dangerous new level, and that conservatives are being targeted.

Speaking about the recent assassination of Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk, Posobiec described how he first heard the news while broadcasting from the Real America’s Voice studio. “At first it was just a rumor that there was a shooting about Charlie,” he said. “And then everybody knows the rest of the story.”

Posobiec said he had been in Phoenix for several weeks “working with Turning Point, working with Erika, and just being there, being supportive.” He said the rise in politically motivated attacks has crossed a line.

“Political violence has gotten to the point where we’ve talked about it for many years. I wrote a book about it. I’ve experienced it. I’ve covered it,” Posobiec said. “But it’s gotten to a point now where it is threatening every single person in this room, the guests included, and even all of you out there.”

Posobiec warned that for conservatives, danger now extends to every part of daily life: “If you are a conservative in America today, that means to live your entire life 24-7, top to bottom. When you wake up, when you’re going to your car, when you’re going to work, when you’re coming home, when you’re taking your kids to school — you could be killed,” he said. “And it’s blunt, but it’s the truth.”

“I said to the president that, you know, Mr. President, the next person who could be assassinated could be sitting at this table right now, and probably is,” he recalled.

“It’s gotten to the point in this country, certainly in the wake of Charlie’s murder, and only gotten worse,” Posobiec said.

Turning to broader cultural trends, he pointed to an emerging generational divide. “When you look at Gen Z … it’s like there’s no middle,” he said. “That’s great when you’re on the right, because everyone’s cool and based and awesome. But that means on the left, you turn towards the most extreme possible solutions — which include political assassination.”

He listed several recent attacks that fit the “profile” of radicalized young men: “Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to kill President Trump. This guy Tyler Robinson at Utah Valley University … and the ICE shooter down in Dallas as well also fits the same profile. The anti-Catholic shooter in Minneapolis fits the profile also.”

“In many of these cases,” Posobiec said, “there’s a tie to transgenderism and that ideology, which has direct ties with violence.”
