In Friday's edition of Human Events Daily, host Jack Posobiec broke down the changes the US went through in the wake of 9/11, which took place 25 years ago that day, and how radical Islamists brought a "civilization fight" to the US that officials instead opened its borders to.
Posobiec began his show by noting that “The America you were born in no longer exists. The country where you were born, where you were raised, if you’re over 25, that country is gone.”
He said that “this is a civilizational fight,” adding that “the Muslims of Al Qaeda will tell you it’s a civilizational fight.” He said he knew that from his time as a Navy intelligence officer being deployed from Guantanamo Bay. “They’re all radical Islamists, every single one of them at Gitmo.”
“But we weren’t allowed to talk about that. We had cultural advisors that the Obama administration would send down, saying that we have to understand Islam, that we have to look at things through their lens, that we need to be more respectful of their culture.”
“But here’s the dirty little secret, folks. They viewed it as a civilizational fight, and we didn’t. We tried to play if like it was some kind of police action. And more importantly, we killed our own civilization in the aftermath. We said Islam is a religion of peace, and in fact, we’re going to prove that we believe it so much, prove that we’re anti-racist, we’re going to open our doors, open the floodgates to Middle Easterners.”
He spoke on Condoleezza Rice’s appearance at the Pentagon’s ceremony marking the 25th anniversary on Friday morning, and her conversation with former President George W Bush the night prior. Rice spoke on the Bush administration’s actions regarding Muslim Americans in the weeks following the shooting, with Bush saying, “I also made it clear that Islam was a religion of peace, not a religion of war, and that these people subverted their religion.”
Bush had made the original comments nearly a week after 9/11, saying in a speech, “The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. That's not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace. These terrorists don't represent peace. They represent evil and war.”
Posobiec replied, “Oh my gosh, it’s like you’ve learned nothing. You’ve absolutely learned nothing. Religion of peace—how many American girls have been raped by Muslim migrants? How many murders are taking place in the United States or all across Europe because of this?”
“Religion of peace, religion of peace, subverted, subverted, subverted. They won't even answer for the things that they've done, and the real question is: Do they actually believe it, or are they just so, so cynical.”
