Jack Posobiec dares corporate media outlets to come to Portland and see Antifa for themselves

“We'll go out at night. We'll put helmets on, we'll put black bloc on, we'll put GoPros on. If you have a little vest, you can have Kevlar, you can have whatever you want."

During Thursday's Human Events Daily, host Jack Posobiec shared his experience of attending the White House roundtable discussion on domestic extremism and Antifa, describing the meeting as a landmark moment in President Donald Trump’s effort to classify the leftist extremists as a foreign terrorist organization.

Posobiec said the meeting, held in the Executive Mansion, brought together “a storied collection of individuals who have risked their lives going up against Antifa time and time again.” He emphasized that everyone in the room had personally confronted violent Antifa groups during protests in cities like Portland and Seattle.

“To all the mainstream media who say that Antifa is not real, who say that it’s an amorphous threat, that it’s decentralized, that it doesn’t actually exist,” Posobiec said, “here’s what I say to you in response: come with me to Portland. I’ll show you Antifa.”

He invited reporters from major networks to accompany him in the field. “Come on out,” he continued. “We’ll go out at night. We’ll put helmets on, we’ll put black bloc on, we’ll put GoPros on. If you have a little vest, you can have Kevlar, you can have whatever you want. But come along with me, and I will show you the streets of Portland, and I will show you exactly who Antifa is, what they do, what they stand for — and then you tell me whether or not Antifa is real.”

Posobiec singled out specific media figures, saying, “If you’re Erin Burnett over at CNN, or if you’re anybody over at MSNBC, or wherever you’re from ... come on out. I invite you, and I’d be more than happy for you to come along with me.”

He went on to describe his own firsthand experiences confronting Antifa in several major US cities. “I’ve been in black bloc how many times?” he said. “I’ve been in CHAZ, the DNC riots of 2016 that the media didn’t even show. I’m going up against these guys again and again and again.”

Posobiec praised Trump’s remarks during the meeting, saying the president’s decision to direct his administration to pursue the foreign terrorist designation for Antifa was “incredible.”

“What President Trump did that was so incredible there,” Posobiec said, “is he made the affirmation that he will name Antifa as a foreign terrorist organization. This was one of the key things that I was seeking out of that meeting.”

He continued, “Antifa was born in Western Europe. They have always been an international organization. They’ve got links to the Middle East, they’ve got links to Canada, they’ve got links to Mexico. They meet every single definition of a foreign terrorist organization.”

According to Posobiec, Trump directly instructed senior adviser Stephen Miller to draft the designation. “President Trump has announced — we were there in the room — he asked Stephen Miller to write it up,” he said. “Use the full force, a whole-of-government approach to rid our country of this sickness, of this disease, of this filth.”

He recounted incidents of political violence connected to far-left movements, referencing attacks he said were motivated by Antifa ideology. “Charlie Kirk was shot with a gun, and the bullet casings said, ‘Hey fascist, catch,’” he said. “The other casing said, ‘Bella Ciao,’ the international anthem of Antifa.”

“I don’t want to have to be there talking to the President of the United States about that,” Posobiec added. “I’d much rather be doing anything else with my time. But the threat of godless communism and Marxism has now come to our shores.”

“Luigi Maggione, Thomas Matthew Crooks, Tyler Robinson, the ICE shooters,” he said. “There is a pattern. There is a profile. And we know it. We know the networks. And we know Antifa.”
