The left doesn't just hate MAGA, they want us dead.
They seem to think we're not deserving of discourse, society, or even the air we breathe.
It's all well and good to say that it's got to stop, but go back to the shooting of Gabby Giffords in 2011—Obama was saying the same thing then. And the vitriol has only increased.
You might think this is a new phenomenon, you might think that it's got more akin to the French Revolution, Stalin, or Mao.
But the truth is that for this recent round of hatefulness, you'd have to go back to the 1990s.
Yeah, that idealized era that everyone imagines as good music and flannel shirts but was really exemplified by heroin chic, black Calvin Kleins and DKNY tunics.
Back then people would say things like "I just can't talk to you if you believe that." Or "stop talking before I have to hate you." That whole thing about talk to the hand? Where do you think that came from?
The lines were drawn all the way back then, and they've only become more entrenched.
Leftists will now say that they will cut you off if you voted for Trump, if you oppose abortion, back closed borders, or don't think men are women.
They'll just stop thinking you're a person. And they'll get super righteous about it too. They'll even opine profusely all about it in their lefty magazines.
What the hell?
Like this article out in the LA Times is from a woman who finds it upsetting that her husband is super MAGA.
And if you've been following along, you know for sure this is just another in a long string of stories from left-leaning mags asserting the righteousness of Democrats in shunning their MAGA brethren.
The woman's marriage counselor even told her "You two just cannot talk politics. That's the only way your marriage will make it through."
When her writer friends asked her why her husband was pro-Trump, she said "I don't know! I think it's the same with all Christians! They are all on the same team, thinking Dump is their savior."
It never occurs to her that it is his Christianity, it is his political perspective, that makes him the man she loves, a man she refers to as one of the best men she's ever known.
She and so many lefties refuse to realize that perhaps there is something deep and real that they are missing about what's going on in America.
But there is. It's for real and it's not going anywhere.
Obama once said that all us backward folk cling to our God and our guns.
Yeah, that's right.
And we haven't let go, and we won't.
Our God fills the void made by a pervasive belief in the fallacy of utopian social justice.
Our guns protect us from leftist guns, which are trained on our leaders, our children, and our journalists.
They started out booting us from public life, canceling us from the internet, our bank accounts, our jobs, families, friends, careers.
It didn't work. We built our own stuff: social media platforms, banking institutions, new jobs, new friends, new careers.
They hate that.
They can't believe they failed to keep us down.
Leftists got so angry that they created a pervasive culture of death and destruction.
The message from the left is clear: disagree with someone's politics? disapprove of their faith? don't like the laws being enforced? Kill 'em.
The Democrat nominee for Attorney General of Virginia revels in the fantasy that his political opponents should be murdered and their wives should mourn their children.
Congressmen who don't like the laws their body has passed think the enforcers of those laws should be eliminated—so do the criminals who equally disapprove of laws preventing their crimes.
Charlie Kirk was murdered by a leftist.
School children have been massacred by trans killers.
ICE agents have been targeted with violence night after night.
Governors stage open defiance of federal law.
A judge determined that a man who tried to kill a Supreme Court justice only earned 8 years in prison for his crime. She even claims that because the man is trans he should get a lighter sentence.
But somehow the leftist righteousness remains and conservatives are belittled and mocked.
They keep calling us white supremacists, fascist, Hitlers. And all our leaders have to say is to tamp down the rhetoric—on both sides.
That's just not the jam anymore.
The time is not to quiet "rhetoric" but to escalate truth.
Do you know people who think men are women? Call them out on their lies.
Do you know people who think being Christian is the same as being racist? Tell them faith is the answer.
Do you have friends around whom you keep quiet so as not to offend? Open up your mouth, spout off, don't be cowed.
The time for accepting lies as truth is over. The time for being nice just to get along is dead.
You know how the lefties always say how you act now is how you would have acted in Nazi Germany? They're right. Don't let the fascist, lying left have their way with our nation.
