ALLEN MASHBURN: MAGA voters must become MAGA leaders

This is our moment. The MAGA movement isn’t just politics—a revolution of good old-fashioned common sense that’s brought America roaring back. In 2024, nearly 80 million of us poured our hearts into voting for Trump, a popular vote landslide that shouted our love for this country. I’ve been to quite a few of those rallies—some exceeding 30,000 strong, folks standing through blazing sun, whipping wind, or drenching rain to hear him speak. These are our people: the truckers, farmers, teachers, and shopkeepers who keep America alive. They’re your neighbors, my friends, the soul of this nation. But as much as we adore Trump, our champion, MAGA, must outlive him. This fight is for our kids, freedom, and the America we’ll leave behind. To win, we need a 25 and 50-year plan to keep elections in our hands, lock Trump’s policies into law, and turn MAGA voters into MAGA candidates— running for office, from school boards to state capitals.

This may come as a shock to some, but it must be said that MAGA isn’t the Republican Party, but it’s become its heartbeat. Before Trump stormed back in 2015, the GOP was fading fast, a bunch of out-of-touch suits who’d forgotten their purpose, their history, and their people. Without MAGA, the Republican Party’s finished—it’ll never win again. The GOP’s just a name; MAGA’s the fire in our hearts, the voice of millions demanding strong borders, thriving jobs, and pride in our flag. Trump revived a dying party, but he can’t do this alone. Those 80 million of us who voted for him, filled arenas, and waited in lines for miles, we’ve got to do more than cheer and vote. It’s time for MAGA voters to run for office and bring our values to every city hall and state house.

Trump’s vision—secure borders, energy dominance, and America First—must be carved into law, not left to whoever comes next. His first 100 days in 2025 have been incredible: cutting red tape, sealing the border, exposing fraud, and fighting for working families. Remember 2020? That stolen election, when Biden was installed in the White House, nearly crushed our country but worked us up. It showed the ugly truth about the media, courts, and deep state. Without that pain, we might’ve stayed blind. Trump’s back, and is sharper, tougher, and dead-set on his mission.  He’s a better President, more informed, a historian, and has boundless energy. But he’s not a superhero—he’s one man. Do we, the millions who stood for hours to hear him, understand that this movement must carry on beyond Donald J. Trump?

We’ve got to take back our towns and states. Politics starts at home, and we’ve let the left run wild for too long. Their Marxist ideas have run wild in our suburbs and rural towns—school boards pushing garbage, city councils bowing to woke nonsense. Why? Because we’ve sat it out, thinking we’re too busy, too scared of losing, or worried we’ll upset someone. That’s fear and laziness, and it’s cost us our voice. Those 80 million Trump voters? That’s an army of everyday people who can run for office and win. There’s no reason we can’t flood ballots with candidates who stand for truth and patriotism.

Imagine the impact: a mom in Ohio wins a school board seat and stops crazy curricula. A shop owner in Texas is a city council member. A dad in Florida passes laws protecting parents’ rights in the state legislature. That’s how we save America—one town at a time. We can’t leave this to Trump alone. The left’s been organizing while we’ve been voting and going home. No more. Will we tell our grandkids we left them a mess because we were too scared? Or will we build them a country full of hope and promise?

Trump’s 2024 win is the biggest election of our lives, a call to everyone. Those rally crowds? That’s our power, and we’ve got to turn it into action. Run for office. Knock on doors. Demand accountability. The left and their globalist allies are the enemy, and we’ve got to beat them in every city and state. So here’s my challenge: step up. Run for school board, city council, anything. Don’t let fear stop you. America’s in our blood, and giving up isn’t us.

We’ve got a country to save and enemies to take down. Start in your hometown now. Let’s roll. MAGA forever. America First, always.
