President Trump is strategically dismantling the Uniparty's "America Last" economic and military expansion of communist China. However, tariffs and trade barriers are only part of Trump's plan. Another part will stop federal bureaucrats from undermining American companies in favor of China's slave labor.

In the late 1990s, President Bill Clinton championed China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) and secured China's "Most Favored Nation" status with the United States. The Clinton administration and Congress transformed "Most Favored Nation" into Permanent Normal Trade Relations (PNTR) to convince the public that Clinton's policies did not favor the Communist Chinese Party (CCP). Nothing could be further from the truth.

President George W. Bush continued this undermining effort by urging US businesses to embed deeper into China's market—more than quintupling between 2001 and 2018 —and President Donald Trump fought back in his 2018 trade war. Thankfully, Trump is saying "no more" by applying the brakes with tariffs and trade barriers to regain America's advantage.

In February, Trump unleashed a 10 percent tariff on Chinese imports, zeroing in on industries where the CCP regime's cheap, cutthroat competition has replaced American workers and industries. This isn't just about economics—it is also a steel wall against China's fentanyl pipeline and a bold stand against China's relentless national security threats. Trump's unwavering and refreshing stance amid the turbulent stock market fluctuations demonstrates his resolve.

Yet, Trump is not stopping at tariffs. He is eyeing a chokehold on American dollars flowing into China's tech empire. His administration is formulating restrictions to block US investments in their semiconductors and AI sectors, which the CCP weaponizes through its Military-Civil Fusion strategy. China's "civilian" tech firms are legally bound to hand over data and intel to their military overlords. In response, Trump is squeezing out American cash from bankrolling our rivals. It's a bold flex that previous presidents have dared to try. President Trump has closed a sneaky loophole called the "de minimis dodge," which let Chinese goods slip into the US duty-free, screwing American manufacturers and charging American consumers for the favor. As manufacturers begin returning to the United States, Chinese imports will now face the tariffs they deserve. President Trump isn't just responding to a quarter-century of poor policy; he's orchestrating significant victories.

With Pam Bondi as the head of the Department of Justice and Gail Slater prepared to head the DOJ's antitrust division, the DOJ should also abandon the Biden-era antitrust policy that benefited the CCP. America's new legal team should quickly reverse course on the DOJ's efforts to block a crucial merger of two American tech companies, HPE and Juniper Networks. That merger, which the Biden administration blocked, will enable American companies to compete with Huawei, China's telecom spyware giant that dominates 30 percent of the global market, with no US firm coming close.

The Pentagon has been warning for years about Huawei's national security nightmare and threat due to backdoors embedded in its hardware and software that allow the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to spy on anyone, anywhere. Huawei's worldwide telecom network threat was identified thanks to the proper and skillful use of America's best intelligence capabilities. Green-lighting the HPE-Juniper merger pumps American muscle into secure, cutting-edge telecom tech. It keeps us ahead of Xi Jinping's careful strategy to choke off our foreign markets and weaponize our telecom infrastructure against us at home. Dropping the Biden antitrust suit is a strategic move that demonstrates we are not just competing against Huawei but that the United States is determined to protect American consumers and companies from CCP espionage.

Thankfully, Trump has more aces up his sleeve. He is banning China from owning American strategic industries while the US states exercise their rights to ban China from owning American farmland. Trump and his MAGA movement are reversing the CCP's slow and incremental takeover of our food supply and energy grid. President Trump has begun hammering Chinese firms caught stealing our tech and hacking our systems. He and Congress are working to remove CCP members and People's Liberation Army offices from our federally funded research and development programs and our national laboratories. President Trump intends to halt the decades-old Chinese Communist Party (CCP) theft of American innovation, including discoveries, patents, blueprints, and computer and DNA codes that defraud our entrepreneurs, undercut our innovators, and harm our country.

Our "America First" president will make the CCP thieves pay with crippling sanctions, relentless enforcement, and a zero-tolerance attitude. The aggressive CCP is economically overextended and is past time to throw it off balance. President Trump's protection and liberation of America from China's dirty tricks is peak leadership—decisive, unapologetic, and laser-focused on America's future. Implementing tariffs that bite, tech mergers that sting, and discontinuing entrenched bureaucratic policies that harm American companies to Beijing's benefit will make America great again. The Uniparty that built Communist China has had its run, and so will the CCP.
